snakebytes Blu-Mote controls your PlayStation®3 with Bluetooth technology and not with regular Infrared technology. That way the USB device of your PlayStation®3 does not get occupied and the USB port can be used otherwise for example Charging Stations or Wired Controllers.
Thanks to the Bluetooth technology you definitely don’t need any USB receiver for your snakebyte Blu-Mote. That means your snakebyte Blu-Mote is able to turn your console on and off which you can’t do with other regular Infrared technology.
The Blu-Mote allows a confortable navigation through the PlayStation® Store and the Cross Media Bar. All media functions as Music, Photo,
Video, including the DVD and Blu-Ray® playback function, can be done with the Blu-Mote and makes the control of your PlayStation® much easier.
The snakebyte Blu-Mote comes with everything you need: Playstation controller buttons as well as regular TV remote control buttons such as: Play, Stop, Next and Previous Chapter. (And so on)
On the bottom of your snakebyte Blu-Mote you will find a USB Port, which allows firmware updates of the Blu-Mote whenever they are needed.
The snakebyte Blu-Mote offers the same functions as the original but with a more ergonomic design.
You don’t need to stand directly beside or in front of your PlayStation®3 to be able to control it. The whole communication between Blu-Mote and PlayStation 3 happens via Bluetooth and not via Infrared, which allows you to control the PS3 from everywhere in the room, without pointing directly to the Infrared sensor.
The snakebyte Blu-Mote needs 2 AA batteries; they are sold seperately.
