    Product description

The wireless controller with integrated Wii Motion Plus and Battery

The snakebyte Premium Remote XL+ controller is the all-in-one solution for every Wii player who wants to get the most out of their controller. With the integrated Wii-Motion Plus function, there is no need to buy or attach peripheral accessories that are normally sold separately.

The Premium Remote XL+ includes an integrated battery, which can easily be charged via USB cable, so that neither a charging station nor batteries are necessary.

In addition the Premium Remote XL+ comes with an external Sync button which makes registration of the Premium Remote XL+ on the Wii much more comfortable.

    Wii Magazin says:

"Key feature: the premium Remote XL+ interfaces with Wii MotionPlus! It activates automatically for games supporting the feature and functions perfectly – we couldn’t tell the difference between it and the original Nintendo controller."

"Like the Remote XS, the Remote XL+ is more sensitive than the Nintendo controller – for example, the pointer moves more quickly and Mario Kart racers react faster."

"Also of note: the remote is outfitted with a Mini-USB port and cable with which the two AA batteries (also included) can be charged. Since there’s no longer a need to constantly change the batteries, the case is sealed with a screw."

"Verdict: More than just an extra controller. Well-designed and practical."

    Nexgam.de reckons:

“The European division of Sunflex, located near Iserlohn in North Rhine-Westphalia, has been focusing on the premium product range for some time.”

“Since your remote has a USB cable included in the delivery (brilliant idea), with which you can charge your remote; opening the battery cap and having to change the batteries only has to be done when needed – ergo every couple of months.”

“The green light can also be given here after a few rounds of tennis and baseball – there is no difference to the official Nintendo product.”

“Now the Premium Remote XL+ can do even more, because it is an all-in-one solution with integrated Motion Plus. The peripheral must not be bought additionally anymore and activates automatically with the compatible games.”

“That quality has its price is a much vaunted truism. In the case of the Premium XL+, 49.99 Euros is a profitable price. That is quite a lot, considering a full game costing the same. However what counts is the equivalent, because Nintendo’s Wiimote bought along with the Motion Plus peripheral is near that price, but without the rechargeable batteries as well as a replacement strap.”

“Do not save on the wrong side – whoever does this destroys their fun in gameplay. That’s why we give a clear buying recommendation for a convincing product.”

    Gamezgeneration.de reckons:

“The scope of delivery of the Premium Remote XL+ has two hand straps, a set of rechargeable batteries and a USB cable next to the remote itself. You heard right: an annoying battery changing operation is removed thanks to the rechargeable batteries provided by snakebyte. Just connect the remote to a USB port and the batteries are charged with lightning speed.”

“The control works impeccable and has no difference to Nintendo’s remote. Also the Wii Motion Plus add-on works impeccable in the Remote XL+, so maximum gaming fun is guaranteed.”

“Snakebyte has manufactured a great controller; the Remote XL+ is an all-in-one solution thanks to the integrated Wii Motion Plus and better handling than Nintendo’s original remote. The price fewer than 50 Euros is therefore acceptable, considering the features of the Premium Remote XL+ being very convincing. “

    Gameradio.de:

“I am quite positively surprised by snakebyte’s small remote.”

“I also count to the group of players, who always bet on original hardware. But the Premium Remote XL+ could really convince in the field test.”

“The remote does not seem as massive as the original with the Wii Motion Plus add-on.”

“Also the charging function with USB is a real additional value. Snakebyte’s device is certainly worth the 50 Euros. Who else need a Wii controller should give the Premium Remote XL+ a chance.”

“Additional wireless receivers for wireless nunchucks can be attached without problems”.

    Nintendo-Online.de reckons:

“Snakebyte’s Premium Remote XL+ is not second to the Japanese version anymore in any way.”

“The idea with the USB connection is outstanding and we cannot understand why Nintendo did not use this possibility and implemented it a few years ago.”

“Nintendo’s controller is beaten by far; this includes the wider range of functions, the charging possibility and the implementation of the MotionPlus.”

    gbase.ch reckons:

“The Remote XL+ lies quite a bit better in the hand, especially through the integration of MotionPlus and the light weight of the remote,  which makes the remote even more suitable for children.“

“It is a big benefit that there are rechargeable batteries and a charging cable included, these must not be purchased separately. You will spare money thanks to good performance for many months and great brand quality.”

“But the most important thing is, how and if the Premium Remote XL+ works. And what a surprise: of course it works. There were no differences when compared with the original during play, except for very minor ones; which were downright positive.”

“Surprise: The Premium Remote XL+ by snakebyte fuses MotionPlus and the Wii remote into one device; thanks to the integrated rechargeable batteries, it is also chargeable through the USB cable. Wiiinsider.de reckons:

“Snakebyte announces a carefree package from July 2010 for the Wii gamers, which consists of a controller, rechargeable batteries, a USB charging cable, wrist bands as well as an integrated Wii MotionPlus. The controller did very well in our field test. “

“The motion detection is good, the buttons and also the directional pad have a pleasant pressure point and react very precisely.”

“As a whole, we award the controller with a buying recommendation for good functionality.”
